Our Physician: Dr. Wellington Chang, M.D.

Dr. Wellington Chang is a board certified ophthalmologist specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and surgery of eye related diseases and conditions.  After graduating with honors from the University of Pennsylvania, he continued at Tufts University School of Medicine, where he received a combined MD and MBA degree in healthcare management.  His post-doctoral training includes an internship in the Department of Surgery at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington D.C., and residency in Ophthalmology at Georgetown University - Washington Hospital Center, where he served as Chief Resident.  He completed a fellowship in Ophthalmic Pathology at the Moran Eye Center of the University of Utah.

Dr. Chang has extensive experience in cataract surgery and offers traditional cataract surgery as well as laser cataract surgery.  He has performed numerous procedures, helping patients regain clear vision and improve their quality of life.

Dr. Chang enjoys volunteering with community organizations to help promote eye health in the Fairfax and Northern Virginia area.  In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family.
